It took place after presidential candidate Barack Obama became the projected winner in Iowa, one of the whitest states in the US I must add. He’s made history period because no black man has ever won in Iowa. He really stands a chance:
Wow, that was powerful and deep. And what’s even more brilliant is that CBS has reported that the majority of Obama’s votes came from voters under 30, so young people are finally making a stand. This may not be a musical post or anything but I am gripped on the presidential election right now as I have a huge interest in politics. I actually studied it in my Sociology degree. Politics may not be interesting to a lot of people but this is major and it affects everyone. You just don’t realise it yet. We sure are choosing hope over fear. Let’s keep it that way.
