BEYONCE TO PLAY ETTA JAMES….

Cedric the Entertainer has just announced that Beyonce has been cast to play famed singer Etta James on his next film, ‘Cadillac Records’ [READ MORE].

I guess Beyonce will not stop until she finally wins an Oscar. If Jennifer Lopez couldn’t win one for her biopic role as Selina, Denzal Washington for his biopic role as Malcom X and Angela Bassett for her biopic role as Tina Turner, Bey won’t win one anytime soon. Reasonably because for one, she’s not that great of an actress. Two, the movie committee won’t acknowledge her unless she allows a white man to grind his dick and balls beneath her and three, Beyonce is not versatile in her movie roles. In almost every one, she plays a singer. And even in this one, she doesn’t lead the movie because the movie is solely about a legendary record boss Leonard Chess who discovered many of the historical R&B greats. I have no doubt in my mind that Beyonce was secretly stung by Jennifer Hudson’s Oscar win for their movie Dreamgirls but if she really wants to prove herself, she’s going to have to choose more challenging movie roles.

RIHANNA & MARY WILL JOIN BEYONCE & JANET JACKSON TO PERFORM AT THE GRAMMY’S!

Great news! Rihanna and Mary J Blige have been added to the list of performers who will rock that Grammy stage on Feb 10th!

Mary J. Blige will do a performance with fellow soul legend Aretha Franklin, the Clark Sisters, Israel & New Breed, and Trin-I-Tee 5:7 in a special gospel segment. Rihanna will do a performance with reunited group The Time. Janet Jackson is believed to be performing her comeback single ‘Feedback’ whilst Beyonce will reportedly share the stage with her biggest idol Tina Turner. This Grammy Awards is shaping up to a hot one. This news was announced today by The Recording Academy. The prestigious music ceremony will take place live on Sunday, February 10, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Will you be watching?
