In the commercial, we see all the different looks and images that Mary had throughout her career. We get a glimpse of ‘What’s the 411?’ Mary, ‘My Life’ Mary, ‘No More Drama’ ‘The Breakthrough’ Mary and the ‘Growing Pains’ Mary.
This week, there will be two exciting video premieres taking place. Ciara‘s ‘Go Girl’ video will premiere tomorrow on Access Granted and Britney‘s ‘Womanizer’ video will premiere on ABC’s 20/20 this Friday. We don’t get to see much from the vids except a first look of the images and costumes that were used. I reckon both vids will be hot. I hope neither of them disappoints but both vids do look interesting from the itsy bitsy previews they’re teasing us with. Kelly is a beast, but a sexy beast nonetheless. She sure was working it. I loved the commercial but that Freemasons remix of ‘Work’ is nauseating. I know it was huge in Europe but it’s the only track that appears to be recieving momentum and I hate it with a passion. Shiiiit. As I reporteded previously, Kelly will perform in Paris as part of the 25-city race with Kanye West headlining the concert in Los Angeles.
Britney Spears‘ brand new TV commercials for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards debuted last night. In them, she is seen with this year’s host Russell Brand and a massive elephant:
Cute. It seems she genuinely wants to promote herself this time and is taking her comeback seriously. Good for her. The show airs September 7th on MTV. The other commercial is after the cut.
Chris Brown‘s new commercial for Wrigleys Doublemint finally aired over the weekend. Check it out:
Pretty cheesy and kind of predictable. Still, Chris can add this along the many business ventures he has under his belt – actor, singer, dancer, director, songwriter – you name it. More power to him I guess.
Rihanna has been hot on the NY scene this week after doing strenuous promotion for her re-release Good Girl Gone Bad. As she’s one of today’s elitist singers, of course you’ll be seeing her a lot around these parts (and on this blog, lol) but here she is again towing New York City last night after attending Alicia Keys ‘As I Am’ concert at Madison Square Garden. She was there to support her pal Ne-yo. Her best friend Melissa was also in tow:
