BRITNEY SPEARS: WOMANIZER [OFFICIAL VIDEO PREMIERE]…..

Britney Spears sealed her comeback last night when she officially premiered her brand new music video for ‘Womanizer’. After watching it, I have to say that the video was really impressive in terms of content. Check out the UNCENSORED version of the video below:

It definetely reminded me of ‘Toxic’, in terms of cinematography, graphics and the different identities used. It seems Britney had a lot of fun with the costumes, and torturing that poor fella. Overall, it was a fun video as well and takes a similar approach to Janet Jackson‘s ‘Son of a Gun’. Now this is the type of video that should have won her a VMA, not that ‘Piece of Me’ crap (well it wasn’t that bad but yes, crap in comparison to her other video’s). Maybe she’ll win one next year for this, who knows. Britney will release her new album ‘Circus’ on Dec 2nd and is slated to do a number of performances and interviews to promote the project.

BRITNEY: FOR THE RECORD [DOCUMENTARY PREVIEW]…..

“What the hell was I thinking?” asks Britney Spears in a brand new 90-minute special. She is only questioning the erratic behaviour that many of us has done since her mental breakdown. In a one-off documenatry called ‘Britney: For The Record’, the 26-year-old pop starlet talks about her life over the past two years. The documentary was executive-produced by her manager Larry Rudolph and will air on Nov 30th courtesy of MTV. Here’s a sneak peek preview below:

Britney is hoping that the TV special will set the record straight about her life. During that time, she divorced the father of her two young sons, went through a custody battle and lost, went to rehab and had very public meltdowns. But the seriousness of Britney’s instability was hugely witnessed during her disastrous performance at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards. I remember watching that and my heart sank. Now on the comeback trail, Britney has won back her sanity and is releasing her sixth studio album, ‘Circus’, in the US on December 2nd, her 27th birthday. Her video ‘Womanizer’ will premiere tonight, and you know I’ll be posting the goods as soon as it airs on TV so stay tuned on that.

NEW BRITNEY STILLS FROM ‘WOMANIZER’ VIDEO…..

Here are three exclusive stills taken from Britney Spears‘s new video ‘Womanizer’. The stills aired last night on a commercial during ABC’s Desperate Housewives:

So far, it looks like it’s going to be a fun charasmatic video. That middle picture looks EXACTLY how Ciara looks in her forthcoming ‘Go Girl’ video. And being that Britney and Ciara are on the same label, it wouldn’t surprise me if Jive are re-using the same props (that black wig). Even the glasses are similar. Anyway, Britney’s video ‘Womanizer’ will premiere on Friday on ABC’s 20/20. It has also been officially confirmed that Britney will perform Womanizer on Good Morning America in December.

This week, there will be two exciting video premieres taking place. Ciara‘s ‘Go Girl’ video will premiere tomorrow on Access Granted and Britney‘s ‘Womanizer’ video will premiere on ABC’s 20/20 this Friday. We don’t get to see much from the vids except a first look of the images and costumes that were used. I reckon both vids will be hot. I hope neither of them disappoints but both vids do look interesting from the itsy bitsy previews they’re teasing us with. ♫ NEW DANJA-PRODUCED DEMO FOR BRITNEY’S ‘CIRCUS’: ‘KILL THE LIGHTS’…..

A demo, alleged to be for Britney Spears‘s new album ‘Circus’ has surfaced. The song is called ‘Kill The Lights’ and is produced by Danja. Check it out after the cut……

The beat is pretty contagious. I’m feeling it more than her latest single ‘Womanizer’. If you listen to the song carefully, you can actually hear the ‘Circus’ music playing along in the melody. I’m noticing Danja went and sampled ‘Entry Of The Gladiators’, which was originally composed by Julius Fucik AND just so happens to be the most well known circus music known to man, lol. As for Womanizer, it will be digitally released on Oct 7th. The video for Womanizer will exclusively premiere on Friday, October 10th on ABC’s 20/20.

DANJA: "BRITNEY’S ‘CIRCUS’ GOES WAY HARDER THAN ‘BLACKOUT’ "…..

In a new interview with Remixmag.com, super producer Danja reveals that Britney Spears‘s forthcoming new album ‘Circus’ will go “way harder than Blackout”. One must ask if that is even possible considering that ‘Blackout’ was the ultimate Pop gem. It will certainly be a tough act to follow and the pressure to deliver an album just as good is pretty high…..

The 26-year-old uses some pretty interesting examples to describe the type of sound he used for Britney’s forthcoming project:

“I like that cinematic sound,” he says. “I got a couple of tracks on Britney’s [upcoming album] that sound like action sequences from The Mummy 3 [Tomb of the Dragon Emperor] or something, just bits and pieces of horn hits that make it sound dramatic. Long before I even knew what I was doing, I would have women tell me, ‘This is sexy’. I’m in tune with certain chords that make you feel a certain way. I know how to grab your emotions. I know what to play in whatever order to bring those feelings forth. This is a universal language. I’m learning how to capture those feelings and inject them into my music. I’m learning how to make you feel what I feel.”

Wow, that in itself sounds quite sexy. Danja really is taking it up a notch with his sonic-heavy production. I think the songs with Britney will be hot but I just don’t think they’ll be as hot as the ones he produced for ‘Blackout’. Britney is one of the most high-profile artists he’s worked for (add Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado to the mix) so just like ‘Blackout’, I’m sure he’ll be giving her some of his best work. Danja has been really busy as of late working from one project to the next. He produced Cassie‘s latest single ‘Official Girl’ as well as Ciara‘s ‘Work’, taken from her forthcoming project ‘Fantasy Ride’. He is also working on tracks for Kelly Rowland‘s third album as well and contributed towards Danity Kane‘s latest project ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse’. Dude really is on his grind.

BRITNEY STARTS PROMOTING ‘WOMANIZER’!…..

In a positive turn-around, Britney Spears is back to promoting. It seems she’s definitely ready to reclaim back her princess of pop title. In promotion of latest new single ‘Womanizer’, the 26-year-old dropped by Z100 Radio Station in New York yesterday morning, where she did an exclusive interview:

In the interview Britney confirmed that she is planning on touring next year. She also revealed that she was very surprised that she won three moon men at the VMAs for her video ‘Piece of Me’ because she felt she has done video’s that were way better. She pretty much feels how many of us feel – that MTV just gave her the VMA’s out of sympathy because they felt bad about last year. She should have at least won a VMA for ‘Toxic’ when Britney was still at the height of her career. It will always remain questionable how the ‘Piece of Me’ video beat out Rihanna‘s ‘Disturbia’. It must have at least been a good four years or more since Britney actually went out and promoted a record. She did zero promotion for ‘Blackout’. There were no electric stage performances, no TV appearances, no in-store signings or promotional gigs; nothing of the sort. Well, except for that disastrous VMA performance last year, but that was only because she was pressured into taking to the stage when clearly, she just wasn’t ready. Whilst Jive exploited the fact that Britney was still suffering from mental illness, rather than push back the record until the following year, they pushed it UP and released it anyway. And this was done knowing full well that Britney wasn’t well enough to promote such a fantastic pop record. As a result, it is her best work to date and sadly, her most underrated. At around this time is when the ‘Blackout’ album should have been released because I’m 100% certain that it would have at least gained the accolades that it so much deserved. ‘Gimme More’ would have been such a hot dance video if she was well, and ready but it’s good she’s making the most of this project in a bid to put things right this time. I can’t wait for the ‘Womanizer’ vid to premiere.

The new Britney Spears single ‘Womanizer’ impacted radio earlier this morning. It seems that her label decided to push UP the highly-anticipated single rather than wait until next Monday. The song is the first single taken from Britney’s 6th studio album ‘Circus’ set for a Dec 2nd release…..

The psychedelic dance-pop anthem glimmers with youthful energy and the beat is catchy with a softcore techno rhythm. Her vocals are heavily synthesised but it suits the music.

I quite like the song but it’s not hotter than ‘Gimme More’. Matter of fact ‘Womanizer’ doesn’t have the same edge and infectiousness that ‘Gimme More’ had (which was obviously going to be a tough act to follow). Also, ‘Gimme More’ was REAL radio-food at best.

Whilst I think this song will do extremely well on the charts (mainly due to hype and not overall content), it is sounding like your typical around the way pop tune that’s been plaquing the music airwaves as late. I’ll say I’m liking the track a lot better than Christina‘s new song though. It definetely has that grit and attitude to make for a slamming music video which I look forwards to.

BRITNEY SPOTTED ON THE SET OF ‘WOMANIZER’…..

UPDATE: ACCORDING TO 961 KISS, BRITNEY’S SINGLE ‘WOMANIZER’ WILL PREMIERE TOMORROW MORNING ON THEIR SHOW.

Yesterday, Britney Spears was spotted on the set of her ‘Womanizer’ music video donning a short goth-black wig, big sunglasses, heels, leather skirt, and bright lipstick. This image is pretty much reminiscent to how she looked when she was having her mental breakdown a while ago:

The video is being directed by Joseph Kahn who also directed her previous music video’s ‘Toxic’ & ‘Stronger’. Both video’s were hot so it seems Britney wants this video to be pretty cinematic. The star and her entourage were seen getting into a SUV after a day’s filming before driving away. There are more pictures over at the source. Womanizer will impact radio worldwide on Sept 29th.

SIMON COWELL: "BRITNEY MAY PERFORM ON THE X-FACTOR"…..

It was reported last week that Britney Spears may perform her new single ‘Womanizer’ on The X-Factor, Britain’s biggest show on television. Now Simon Cowell, the mastermind behind the show is now saying it’s a possibility. Though, nothing has been set in stone just yet….

Check out a couple of quotes from the hard-nosed talent judge:

Britney Spears may perform on UK’s X Factor singing competition, Simon Cowell told Extra.

“I think Britney Spears is going to perform,” the show’s judge said.

“We didn’t get her,” he explained. “She’s got a record coming out. We have the number one show in England. It’s the best show for her to perform on.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have her,” he raved. “She’s a hugely talented person… She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show.”

Hmmmm, looks like they’re going through the negotiation process right now of trying to get her on the show and a decision has yet to be made. Sounds too good to be true if you ask me so fans shouldn’t get their hopes up as it’s highly likely it won’t even happen. I just want to hear the new single (next week Monday or whenever) and hope she brings it with the music video and that alone would be good enough for me. If she’s not ready to perform, she shouldn’t be pushed into it either. It has to be something she’s ready for, otherwise this could send her back to her old ways if she performs and it backfires again. It is also reported that Britney started the video shoot for ‘Womanizer’ yesterday afternoon.
