KELLY ROWLAND STILL BLAGS ABOUT DESTINY’S CHILD REUNION….

Something is definitely up when you constantly harp on about a reunion with your former band members especially since the reunion has yet to be made official. It just seems Kelly Rowland can’t stop talking about it and she’s the only one doing so. Whilst Beyonce and Michelle are busy with their forthcoming projects, Kelly spends most of time in the UK mouthing off about a reunion to anyone who will listen. According to Kelly, the girls may record new material for a comeback tour.

The article also notes that Kelly previously commented about Destiny’s Child making a stage comeback next year. So I’m not reposting the same comments as before. This is a NEW CLAIM. She says: “We’re so looking forward to working with each again and we just need to find a time in our diaries when we can get into the studio together.” Damn, Kelly spends more time promoting this reunion than her own forthcoming project.

It appears Kelly has already accepted that no matter how many albums she puts out, she’ll never be a successful solo recording artist, at least not in the US anyway. I do welcome a Destiny’s Child reunion. ‘Destiny’s Fulfilled’ was an excellent R&B album and they certainly made up for the bubblegum bullshit that was ‘Survivor’. Destiny’s Child has put out some addictively punchy ear-engaging pop music over the years, but if we do get a reunion, it will only be too soon.

After Kelly Rowland‘s failed bid for solo stardom, she now reveals that Destiny’s Child may reunite next year:

Here’s what she said about a possible future reunion: “Me and the girls never split up – we are as close as we always were, like sisters, and we may do some projects next year.” Explains why her ass has managed to keep her contract at Columbia when other R&B singers got dropped with the quickness. Beyonce is raking all the doe so they can afford to keep her I guess, even if it means restricting her promo. Anyway, how do you guys REALLY feel about a Destiny’s Child reunion?

And as we’re on the topic of Beyonce, the 26-year-old will perform at Conde Nast Media Group’s 4th Annual Fashion Rocks benefit event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on September 5th.

Other performers will include Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna. It will be a two-hour star-studded concert honoring the extraordinary relationship between fashion and music. Each performer will be paired with models and rock clothing designed by leading designers of the world. The show is expected to air on CBS at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept 9th. As Beyonce’s new album is expected to drop in November, will this be the moment she performs her new single?

Speaking on her new album, Sean Garrett recently admitted on his Myspace that he’s finished crafting a club banger for Beyonce’s new project which will be released via Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records.
